CoronaVirus Statement

As the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) continues to have an increased impact, Provident Bank is closely monitoring the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local and state public health agencies. We are and will continue to respond in accordance with their recommendations. As an essential business we feel it’s important to connect directly with you to share the precautions Provident Bank is taking at our branches and corporate offices to help keep our employees, their families, and our customers safe and healthy while maintaining a consistent level of service.

We are prepared to serve you through our traditional channels.

In support of the State of California “Stay at Home” order, we recommend accessing your Provident account information from our MyProvident Mobile Banking app or our MyProvident Online Banking site. Your account information is available 24/7 allowing you to view transactions, check balances, deposit checks, transfer balances, and make payments without having to visit the branch in person. Additionally, you can call our Access Plus Direct Talk line at (800) 442-5201, providing you 24 hour phone access to your funds. Should you need to speak to a Customer Care Associate directly, they are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

If you visit our branches, please know that our branch staff is available to serve you. To ensure we are doing everything possible to help prevent the spread of the CoronaVirus, we are limiting the number of customers allowed inside the branch at one time and enforcing customer distance of six feet apart. In addition, we are performing additional cleaning procedures and we have made hand sanitizer available (when possible) at all branch locations for employees and customers to utilize. We continue to educate our employees regarding best practices as set forth by the CDC which includes having advised our staff not to report to work if they are ill or if they have family members in their home who are exhibiting any symptoms of respiratory illness.

As we continue to closely monitor and evaluate this uncertain situation, we will add appropriate measures to support our employees, their families, our customers, and our communities as needs arise.
